WHO AM I, REALLY? THE IDENTITY COURSE
A psychospiritual journey home to your authentic self.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Who am I, when no one is watching, and nothing is expected of me? Underneath the roles, the masks, and everything you learned to be in order to be loved, who is actually there? Who Am I, Really? The Identity Course is a deep, therapeutic, and quietly spiritual journey designed to guide you home to your authentic self. This is not self-improvement, and it is not about becoming someone better. It is about gently setting down everything you are not, until what was always there, underneath, can finally be felt.
Created and guided by Mistress Anna, holistic therapist, certified coach, educator, and President of the LOV Association, this course braids two strands of work that are rarely held together. The first is psychological: understanding how identity is constructed, and gently dismantling the conditioning, programming, inherited beliefs, and trauma adaptations that built the mask. The second is spiritual: reconnecting you with the deeper Self that lives beneath the story, the part of you that was never wounded and never lost. Psychology clears away what is false. Spirit reveals what is true. Together, they bring you home.
This course is proudly aligned with the mission of the LOV Association, dedicated to a world where every person feels empowered to embrace their true self, free from judgment or stigma. LOV stands for Love, Open-mindedness, and Validation.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
– Anyone who has achieved or performed their way through life and still quietly wonders who they are underneath it
– People who feel shaped by family, culture, or religion and want to know which parts of them are truly their own
– Those carrying the weight of old wounds, who sense their identity formed around protecting them
– Seekers who want depth that is both psychologically grounded and spiritually alive, without dogma
– Anyone standing at a threshold, a loss, a change, an awakening, asking the oldest question there is: who am I, really?
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
– What identity actually is, and how the self you call “me” was constructed long before you could choose
– How to recognise your masks, and the conditioning, programming, and inherited beliefs underneath them
– How trauma shapes identity, and how to meet the protective parts of you with compassion rather than war
– How to quiet the conditioned mind and the inner critic, and tell your own voice from the voices you absorbed
– How to listen to the body, which remembers what the mind forgets, and release what it has held
– How to contact the deeper Self through presence and the witness, the ground of a stable identity
– How to reclaim the parts of you that were exiled, and consciously choose who you are now
– How to live, in your relationships and your daily life, as your true self, and how to return when you lose your way
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
– A clear, compassionate understanding of how your identity was built, and the freedom that comes from seeing it
– Release from inherited shame, limiting beliefs, and the exhausting work of maintaining a self that was never you
– A felt, embodied connection to the deeper Self beneath the story, and the steadiness that brings
– A reclaimed sense of wholeness, your exiled parts welcomed home
– A lifelong toolkit of psychological and spiritual practices, and your own authentic voice to carry forward
COURSE STRUCTURE
This self-paced online course unfolds across nine modules and eighteen lessons (an essential safety-and-grounding module, then eight modules of two lessons each), designed to be taken gently over about eight weeks, with lifetime access to revisit any lesson as you grow:
0. Before We Begin: Safety, Ground, and the Inner Resource
1. The Self You Were Given: the constructed self vs the authentic Self, and the masks we wear to be loved
2. How You Were Programmed: conditioning, inherited beliefs, and ancestral patterns
3. The Adaptive Self: how trauma shapes identity, and meeting your protectors with compassion
4. The Conditioned Mind: the inner critic, and deprogramming old beliefs
5. The Body Remembers: somatic truth, and releasing what the body holds
6. The Spiritual Turn: the witness, presence, and the authentic Self and soul
7. Reclamation: reclaiming the exiled parts, and choosing who you are now
8. Living as Your True Self: alignment, boundaries, and the lifelong practice of returning
Every lesson blends clear teaching, real stories, guided journaling, and strong safety guidance, and each offers a Therapy to Try practice drawn from evidence-based approaches (narrative therapy, inner-child and parts work / IFS, CBT and ACT, self-compassion and mindfulness / RAIN, Gestalt, somatic and nervous-system work, Transactional Analysis, and Nonviolent Communication) alongside a Spiritual Practice to Try (presence and the witness, meditation, breath, visualization, and ritual), so that every insight becomes something lived in the body, not just understood in the mind. You will build a personal Self Map as you go, and the course closes with a quiz and a reflective assignment to make the journey truly your own.

A NOTE ON SAFETY
This course is education and guided self-exploration. It is profound, but it is not a substitute for therapy or medical care, and its practices are gentle self-help tools, not a replacement for working with a qualified professional. Identity work can stir deep and tender emotions, sometimes connected to trauma. Please go gently, only as deep as feels safe, and be very kind to yourself. Module 0 exists to prepare you for exactly this. If this work surfaces overwhelming pain or persistent distress, you deserve real support, and seeking it is an act of self-compassion. If you are ever in crisis, please reach out to a local crisis line or emergency services right away. Your wellbeing comes first, always.
WHERE STUDENTS START AND WHERE THEY END
Students often begin feeling lost, divided, or unsure which parts of them are truly their own, quietly carrying the question of who they really are. By the end, they understand how their identity was built, have loosened its conditioning and befriended its protectors, touched the authentic Self beneath the story, welcomed home their exiled parts, and begun living, by daily practice, as who they truly are, carrying a lifelong toolkit and their own homecoming map.
